La Quinta Country Inn is a tropical rain forest resort, an ideal spot for visitors interested in bird watching, hiking, river rafting and a peaceful stay in paradise. It is located within two hours of San Jose and just minutes from world class river rafting, mountain biking trails and the vast Braulio Carrillo National Park, an extensive primary tropical rain forest, and La Selva Biological Station.

| How to get there: |
| From San Jose take the road to Limon that passes through the Braulio Carillo National Park and the Rainforest Aerial Tram, which curves to the northeast. Approximately 8 miles past the Rainforest Aerial Tram, turn left on Route 4. You will travel north on Route 4 until you reach the town of Puerto Viejo. At the stop sign, turn left on Route 9 and travel 5 miles west until you encounter the Lodge. |
