Tortuga Island Cruise
Depart from the hotel for a scenic one hour drive to the port city of Puntarenas. Welcome aboard and meet the captain and  the crew who will pamper you on the cruise. Enjoy a welcome cocktail as the boat heads for open sea. Particularly enchanting for its beauty, Tortuga Island is known for its immaculate white sand beach and turquoise waters, a perfect stop for swimming and snorkeling. Waterfalls canopy tour + nature walk
Three beautiful waterfalls and the plants and animals of a transitional jungle combined with an exciting ride along steel cables.  Thirteen platforms ranging from ground level to over 100 feet above the forest floor including Tarzan swing, suspension bridge and a fully furnished 3 Story Treehouse in the style of Robinson Crusoe. At the end of the tour is an extra long cable with a 90 foot rappel down for the truly adventurous. The tour also includes a guided waterfalls nature walk  where we will be explaining about the different areas we pass through and the flora and fauna we encounter.

Jungle crocodile safari tour
Know and explore a unique tourist destination in Costa Rica located thirty minutes from Jacó and their surroundings. The Big River of Tárcoles, one of the four rivers that ends in the Gulf of Nicoya on the Pacific Ocean, offers the visitor the opportunity to observe American Crocodiles (Crocodylae, C.acutus), with sizes over the four meters long, iguanas (Iguanae, Iguana) and basilisks (Basilisks sp.) in their natural environment, in addition to more than a hundred twenty different species of birds, resident and migratory, terrestrial and coastal. Specialized bilingual guides accompany the group offering wide educational information on the biology of the crocodiles and diverse aspects of the ecology of this wonderful natural refuge.   We give a bottle of water and an informative full-colored pamphlet of the 56 birds that may be spotted more frequently to our visitors, as a courtesy.

Horseback ride
This two-hour ride through our private farm starts at the riverside of Tarcoles’s Big River, exploring across paths of tropical forest and a small zone of swamp. You will have the possibility to observe  different species of animals and plants. The tourists will be accompanied by  a bilingual guide and an experienced wrangler  who will offer the necessary information to mount our docile horses. Bottled water will be available.

Naranjo River Rafting tour  class III-IV  (May-December) (*)
The wild and ever-changing Naranjo River White Water Rafting challenge is recommended for physically fit adventure seekers and experienced rafters who are familiar with Class III and IV rapids. The Naranjo River runs from April to December and is a consistently adrenaline-pumping Class III and IV wild ride. This river rafting  trip packs all its punches in a 7 mile ride that keeps your adrenaline level high for several hours.  Water levels can rise rapidly on this Costa Rican river treasure, especially during the rainy season (May-October), which definitely brings the difficulty level up for any experienced rafter.

Savegre River Rafting class II, II and IV  (*)
Our more family-friendly Savegre River provides Class II, III and some rare IV rapids that are more than manageable  in sturdy rafts that accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably.  Our guides stop at locally known swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls, if the rafters want a break from paddling, and there is always time to enjoy the abundant variety of wildlife along the river. On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the tropical rain forest.  After a steady 13 mile trip down the river, we wind our way back to the little village of “Silencio” where a gladly awaited hot lunch “Tico Style” and local refreshments are waiting.

Manuel Antonio National Park (*)

See how many different kinds of flora and fauna you can spot just in the span of a 2 ½ hour nature walk or hike.  And at the end, enjoy some local fresh fruits and refreshments as you pause to savor your adventure thus far.  If you so desire, hike additionally through the trails and enjoy unspoiled, un-crowded, pristine beaches after your guided educational adventure ends, and maybe even snorkel after the hike on your own.  Learn about the history of the Quepoa Indians and Costa Rica’s past in regard to this stunningly beautiful Manuel Antonio area.

Carara National Park tour (*)
While visiting Costa Rica’s Central Pacific, Carara is a park that you must not miss! This national park’s low mountainous 15,000 acre area is home to the rare Scarlet Macaw and it holds an interesting mix of dry forest and tropical rainforest.  Other park inhabitants include a variety of mammals, plants, and trees.  As you walk besides Tárcoles River, lookout for monkeys, birds, immense crocodiles, iguanas, and frogs. If you are a nature lover, you will truly appreciate the wonders of this intricate ecosystem.

Rain Forest Aerial Tram Tour Pacific
The Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram is an eco-tourism project with 222 acres (90 hectares) of rainforest, showcasing small waterfalls and scenic views of the Pacific Coast.  Our Rain Forest Aerial Tram - Pacific flys through a transitional area between the extremely rare tropical dry forest and the tropical rainforest. Our Sea Kayak and Snorkeling tour is serious fun. The scenery is spectacular, our equipment is top notch and easy to paddle. We snorkel (when conditions permit) from the beach so we have lots of options. Departures out of Agujas Beach.

Turubari Park nature walk + one adventure tour
Turubari  Tropical Parks is a is theme park aimed at adventure and ecological tourism which is located in the Province of San José, just 47 miles from the metropolitan area. This tour includes a nature walk, tram ride and one adventure to choose from: 

Sensational Cable: Measuring a kilometer long and with a maximum height of 315 feet, guests will reach a top speed of 55 miles per hour. It’s like a Superman-style run where you’re flying.

Canopy tour: Our canopy tour boasts two options. The first is called the Turu Ba Ri canopy and is 4.910 feet long, spread out over 7 cables, 12 platforms and one tower. It lasts approximately one hour. The second option is for more daring individuals. The pure adrenaline canopy with the modality: “Tarzan Swing”. The entire tour takes about two hours. Whichever of the two options, they will have the opportunity to walk along three hanging bridges and several trails in the mountain.

Tropical Garden Horseback Ride: Measuring 8.335 feet and lasting between 45 minutes and one tour, this is a great alternative for those who like unite ecology with adventure. During this trip, guides will offer a general explanation about the flora and fauna that can be observed. It is important to mention that even children can participate in this tour as our horses are trained to offer full safety.

Arenal Volcano & Tabacon Hot Springs
Prepare for an unforgettable experience as you join one of the most popular attractions in Costa Rica. On this tour you will visit the Arenal Volcano and relax at its hot springs. On your way to Arenal, you will travel through the picturesque town of La Fortuna, the closest settlement to the volcano.  From here, you may fell this active volcano as it rumbles sending clouds of smoke and ash into the sky.  On a clear day, you may also have the chance to witness a small eruption, causing red lava to pour down the mountain illuminating the night sky like a magnificent display of fireworks. GLT Poas Volcano/Doka State & Sarchi
Admire the imposing Poás Volcano from 2.708m (8.884ft) above sea level, and visit a unique coffee plantation and the historic city of Sarchí on this exciting day trip. The tour’s first stop is Poás Volcano National Park, where you will enjoy magnificent views of the Central Valley and the volcano’s enormous crater - one of the biggest in the world!  Next, you will visit Doka Estate and its beautiful coffee plantations. Your tour guide will take you through the estate, visiting the plantations and the 96 year old "beneficio" or coffee mill.  Having learned how premium coffee beans turn into a fabulous cup of java, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. You will continue to the town of Sarchí, home to Costa Rica’s most experienced artisans.  Here, you may see first-hand how typical oxcarts are built and painted and indulge buying the local’s beautiful wood souvenirs!
