Adventure Honeymoon

As if getting married isn’t thrilling enough, this honeymoon package was designed to bring adrenaline flows to your trip after the ceremony.

 

Day 1 Arrival
Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to Grano de Oro hotel(B).

Day 2 Pacuare River
Early morning pick-up for your thrilling white water rafting adventure on the picturesque Pacuare River. Overnight in a jungle oasis nestled amidst an enchanting rainforest on the banks of the river. A romantic dinner for two has been arranged for you. (B,L,D)

Day 3 San Jose
After breakfast in the comfortable Pacuare Lodge, hop back into the raft.

Rafting becomes even more exciting today as you begin to use the skills and experience gained the day before. Your guides will stop the rafts along the journey and lead you up paths and side streams that open onto pristine waterfalls and natural water slides. Lunch will be served along the river, and when we reach our final destination, we'll board the comfortable microbus for your  return to San José, sharing experiences with each other as this memorable trip draws to a close.
Overnight at the Grano de Oro (B,L).

Day 4 Corcovado National Park
Depart after breakfast for Corcovado National Park. Just getting there is an adventure. Once your flight has landed in Palmar Sur, a heart-pumping boat ride on the Sierpe River awaits you. Arrive early afternoon at the Casa Corcovado Lodge. The rest of the day is free for exploring. Don’t forget to choose your location of choice for your private dinner tonight. (B,L,D)

Day 05 Corcovado National Park
Familiarize yourself with the intricate workings of the rainforest on a day hike into Corcovado National Park. Home to more than 400 species of birds and more than a hundred species of amphibians and mammals, including monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatimundis and other wildlife. According to National Geographic, this region of Costa Rica is “the most biologically intense place on earth”. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Caño Island
This morning you’re off to Caño Island Reserve. Time to relax and swim, or hike through the island. T his 300 ha island is known for its Indian cemetery and also known for its coral reefs and a variety of marine life. Even ponderous Humpback Whales can often be seen breaking the surface of the water in their season of migration (December and January). (B,L,D)

Day 7 San Jose
Return to San Jose and check in at the Grano de Oro or similar hotel. Free time to do some shopping or experience the active nightlife in San Jose. (B)

Day 8 Departure
Transfer to airport for your flight home or take advantage of the many tour extensions available.
